The stay permit documentation is submitted to the ministry of interior (MUP) so the actual timeline depends on the officials which are dedicated to your case file.
Usually our clients receive the permit within 30 days from the time they submitted the application but sometimes it takes more time.

The OIB number is the unique identifying number for living in Croatia. You can get the OIB by submitting your temporary stay documentation and receive it from the ministry of interior or you can visit the tax office in Zagreb and they will provide you with and OIB number.
In case you don't do the registration in a timely manner you can get a fine from the police authority.
