3rd country nationals
In order to submit your registration, please prepare the following documentation in digital format (PDF) and print version prior to your arrival
- Your ID (EU) or passport copy
- A color photograph, 35x45mm.
- Proof of health insurance (EHIC card for EU).
- Proof of sufficient means of subsistence AKA Bank statement (statement of bank account, scholarship confirmation or similar; 800 HRK/month for EU citizens (approx. 110 EUR min./month), 1000 HRK/month for NON-EU citizens (approx. 150 EUR min./month).
- Acceptance letter (in Croatian or English) from an institution in Croatia stating the purpose of your stay.
- Certificate of non-criminal record with apostille (non-EEA nationals coming from a non-EEA country)

Important
- Non_EEA nationals should register within 48 hours of their arrival
- Non_EEA nationals which stay in Croatia up to 90 days should submit 16a + ID + proof of secured accommodation to zg.drzavljanstvo.stranci@mup.hr
Health insurance
Non_EEA exchange nationals are required to take out travel medical insurance that is valid during the entire period spent in Croatia.
The ensured cover must be at least 30.000 EUR and include repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical care, and/or emergency treatment in a hospital.
